Transport Gillemot was founded in 1937 by the family Gillemot. In the early years the company started their business with 1 small car and only had a license for national transport. Year today, Transport Gillemot is a well established logistics company which provides Benelux distribution, international transport (FTL, LTL, groupage) and warehousing of conventional and hazardous goods. A team of professionals, supported by various information technology applications, offers a range of specialized services to a diversified clientele. Gillemot offers a combined range of distribution, transport and logistic services; therefore we can ensure our customers an integrated solution for their national and European flows.

In May 2010, Royal Rotra finalised the take-over of the Gillemot NV shares. The Dutch family company Rotra was founded in 1909 and has in recent decades developed into a trusted and tried One Stop Logistics Shops with offices throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. Rotra is specialized in worldwide forwarding by road, rail, air and sea, Warehousing, Value Added Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
